Natural/organic consumers are the fastest growing market today.
It is the right thing to do for you, our customers. The U.S. Center for Health and Statistics reports that one in three people suffer from allergies, asthma or bronchitis. That means, 33% of our population suffers from respiratory problems. Using conventional cleaning products can cause additional respiratory irritation.
By offering natural home care products to your customers, you are making a difference in their lives and the air quality in their home.
Are these products Green Seal Certified?

Where can I find additional information on natural cleaners?
If you are interested in learning more about natural cleaning we recommend the following books:
"Green Clean - The Environmentally Sound Guide To Cleaning your Home" by Linda Mason Hunter and Mikki Halpin
"Green This! - Volume One Greening Your Cleaning" by Deirdre ImusThere are also several good websites that detail additional statistics and information.
Do these products contain natural or synthetic fragrance?

How do I remove the induction seal from products with a trigger sprayer?
All trigger sprayer products have a thin foil induction seal that has to be punctured to insert the trigger sprayer. If you are having difficulty removing this seal, please press the trigger spray dip tube down through the foil. The tube will puncture it easily. There is no reason for the entire induction seal to be removed from the rim of the bottle for the product to function. You should puncture the foil, insert trigger sprayer and tighten sprayer to bottle.
Do Watkins All-Purpose Cleaners disinfect?
There are many theories about disinfectants. Some experts say that we are creating "Super Germs" with our constant disinfecting (meaning that the germs build a resistance to the chemicals and come back even stronger/bigger). Others argue that the chemicals we are using to kill the germs are just as harmful as the germs themselves. 86% of people who use disinfecting cleaners don't let the disinfecting formula penetrate the surface. They spray and immediately wipe and as a result they don't get the disinfecting properties of the cleaner at all. We've spent a great deal of time researching this issue and we've found that the best way to keep germs at bay is with regular soap and water. Regular cleaning and maintenance are the best ways to disinfect your home.
Is the Window Cleaner anti-static?
The J.R. Watkins Natural Window Cleaners are not anti-static.
Will the Tub and Tile Cleaner work on scum build up?
If you have significant build up, we recommend letting the product sit on the surface so it can penetrate for 10 to 15 minutes. Then agitate if necessary and rinse. This product works great on glass shower doors, tile and fixtures. The product will perform best if you keep up with regular maintenance.
Can the furniture cleaner be used on hardwood floors?
Yes the J.R. Watkins Natural Furniture Polish can be used to clean all hard wood surfaces but we recommend testing the products in a small inconspicuous area prior to use.
Do the Aloe and Green Tea products contain aloe vera?

Why is Automatic Dishwashing Detergent a U.S. only product?

Why are the Traditional Favorites not in the Master Catalog?
We understand that our Traditional Favorites Cleaners are very popular. However, our focus is on our new line of J.R. Watkins Natural Home Care products. Will Toilet Bowl Cleanser be discontinued?
The existing toilet bowl cleaner (06795, 36795 and 66795) is here to stay. But as many of your customers look to natural based cleaning products, the new natural toilet bowl cleaner (16750) will give you an opportunity to expand your customer base.
Can the Aloe and Green Tea All-Purpose Wipes be used for personal care?
No, Watkins All-Purpose Wipes are for surface cleaning only. Please keep in mind that no Watkins product should ever be used in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.
The Automatic Dishwashing Detergent seems thick. Because this is a natural product, thickness and color may vary slightly. It may be necessary to shake the bottle for a short period of time prior to use. This will remix the formula and give you an even distribution of product.
The ingredients listed on the All-Purpose Cleaner and Window Cleaner labels are almost identical. There are several differences between our All-Purpose Cleaners and Window Cleaners. The primary point of difference is that our window cleaners contain an anti-streaking agent.
Please remember that while Watkins does make every effort to list most of the natural ingredients, we do not specify every part of our proprietary formulas.
