Coaching Questions that Work!

Here are 7 great steps to effective coaching of your team members. Used in order, these will probably get better answers than just saying something like, "So, how’s it going?" and then having her launch into a discussion on family and kids.

1) What does she want from her business?

2) Based on her average, how many parties/recruits/orders will it take to get what she wants and what is a realistic time commitment?

3) What ideas does she have so far for getting parties/recruits/orders?

4) Brainstorm ideas together

5) Which ideas will she complete this week?

6) When will she complete the work?

7) Date for follow-up feedback call.
